Hooray for Sara Hale and Middle Age!

Hooray for Sara Hale!

If you click on the hyperlink above you will see that Sara was a very interesting woman. She made an impact in the U. S. A. while facing great personal challenges after the loss of her husband. She was a writer of poems and is known for writing the the nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb." She was also an editor ofa major women's publication. She made many of her accomplishments in middle age and beyond. With our culture that is so youth oriented, we can be lulled into thinking that our best accomplishments were when we were Miss Wayne County back in high school - btw, that never happened ;-). The article above advocates for those of us in the last half of our lives.

Hooray for Middle Age!
