Itty Bitty Izzy Update - Making Dolls With Paperclay

Here's a picture of my Itty Bitty Izzy - next to a normal sized spool of thread. Her body and limbs are of cloth with paperclay over the head and shoulders.

Making Izannah Walker style dolls is fun and challenging, but making one under 6" tall is quite a process! Limbs are just pinned on for now and I need to figure out how to put Itty Bitty Thumbs on this girl. And then to dress her...not sure if I'll be listing her on Ebay or right here on my blog. We'll see when she's all done.

Awww Dixie, she's precious!! What is it about small things? They are always so cute to me! I know they're much more difficult to make though, I've made some tiny things myself. I can wait to see her! xxoo, Dawn

dear Dixie,
I'm here holding a spool of thread and trying to imagine just how small your little girl is.
She is precious.
I look forward to seeing Little Izzy when she makes her debut.
