Creative Textures Class

I'm taking an online class right now called Creative Textures. I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with some of the techniques. Sometimes in the process you discover something that you can use on purpose. It still has a ways to go - I'll be painting some things out. At this point it's way too busy and I need to EDIT. One of the fun things about photographing works of art is to take crops of them and you can discover all kinds of other interesting compositions:

And of course I changed the painting. But now I am stopping because I'm getting ready for a trip to Florida on Friday and I have loads to do!

I painted over several things
and added lots of dry brushing on top.

Dixie,
Wow I love the colors and the textures you are getting in your painting.
You are so right that to crop pictures really helps to see new perspectives. Sometimes I even take my work to a mirror and look at it from that view. I Can't wait to see it completed.

Well, Maureen - it has changed a lot - not necessarily for the better. But that's okay. This is ***experimental****, right?
