The Inspiration - an Original Izannah Walker Doll

The goal of my pattern is to capture the shape of the original Izannah Walker doll. For the head, I want to create a base to build on with paperclay that isn't too large, but also saves on paperclay. Details of the head would come with the addition of paperclay. Above and below are pictures of the original Izannah Walker Doll, which is 15 1/2 inches in size.

Below is one of the versions of a head pattern I'm working on. Right now I'm trying to decide between #5 head or #2B head. ;-)

There are lots of pictures in the backposts.

It must be a challenge to decide on which pattern to use.
Somewhere perhaps Izannah must have made a journal for patterns and drafts.
Have you ever come across such a booklet Dixie?

No - all of her patterns and stuff went to her housekeeper on her death. I wonder what the housekeeper did with them?
