Viven Maier: Her Discovered Work

Karen Littlefield, a wonderful photographer I know, posted on Facebook about Vivien Maier, a street photographer who lived in Chicago.   An incredible story can be found at the blog Viven Maier:  Her Discovered Work, where apparently a young man purchased Vivien's photos, negatives and undeveloped rolls of film at an auction.   That's the beginning of the story.  What he found was not just common family snapshots, but incredible art of a woman who worked quietly for 50 years documenting life with her camera.   Vivien's work deserves to be seen.
