Evelyn's Garden

When I was a little girl my piano teacher had an awesome flower garden. I used to love looking at the sweet peas in her garden, which later made way for the most awesome zinnias. Today I decided to play around with paint and just remember the colors and the way her garden made me feel.

Lovely and evocative, Dixie. As a kid I had a neighbor whose back porch was always FULL of potted plants, like a little jungle. Use to love when she'd ask me to water them for her.

This is absolutely beautiful Miss Dixie ;-)
It makes me feel very peaceful, calm and connected to the earth.

Thank you!

Thank you, Jan. Isn't it amazing the difference people can make in our lives? And now you are an awesome gardener.

Thank you, Lori Ann. When you call me Miss Dixie I feel the love ;-) I had such fun making this painting. There was no thought in it of whether it would appeal to someone else, but I'm so glad it does. :-)
