I had lunch with one of my sisters at the University of Maine. It was a beauitful spring day. Kind of like a Fairfield Porter day. Artsy friend Kamala told me she liked the composition of the branches and shadows in black and white, so I converted it....and she's right. You see the structure of the shadows and branches more without the distraction of the color.
I love the composition of this photograph and the wonderful shadows. I changed it to black and white in photo editing and it really enhances the shadows. I hope this attachment works. Thanks for sharing your photos, nice work!
I think I can hear the birds singing.
ReplyDeleteYes, the darn crows are being really loud in the mornings!
DeleteIt's lovely now that spring is finally here:)
ReplyDeleteOh, I am REVELING in it. I so enjoyed taking pictures yesterday and just sitting on a rock wall.

Thanks, Kamala. I took that picture with my phone. :-) I do that a lot more now that I always have a camera with me when I see light and shadows.
