Siblings and Laughter

I love this picture. It's of my brothers and sister who were on the "Bacon Crew" for the family reunion last August. My dad took the picture after we had cooked 20 pounds of bacon and were enjoying a cup of coffee before the pancake hour. I don't remember what was said - but I think we were teasing my younger brother on the right. He's a pretty good sport. I'm the oldest of this particular crew - that's me on the left.

Here's a preview above of my next project - a dollmaking friend suggested I make a doll like my banner above - and so yesterday I went to Lowes and bought some wooden components as a beginning. I guerilla-glued the ball to a furniture leg and next will be to add a layer of paper clay.

Dixie that is the BEST photo!!! I know you must just love it! How wonderful that your dad caught you all laughing at the same time....I can't wait to see your new doll, it's so neat that the wood is your foundation. Hope you have a great weekend ~ xxoo, Dawn
