Seth Godin Is My New David Gergen

Seth Godin is my new David Gergen. I decided to take a break from the big project I'm working on and read Seth's article about boundaries. It was timely, because I was facing a hard design decision on the pattern I'm working on. This article got my head spinning in a different direction about the problem. Apparently I've been living under a rock, because I had never heard of Seth Godin until about a week ago. But I've been reading Seth's blog daily now. On Boundaries, Seth said,
"Some artists continually seek to tear down boundaries, to find new powder, new territory, new worlds to explore. They're the ones that hop the fence to get to places no one has ever been.

Other artists understand that they need to see the edges of the box if they're going to create work that lasts. No fence, no art.

Can't do both at the same time."

Which kind of artist are you? I'm definitely a boundary artist. And I am finally fine with that.
