Day 18: Learning and Thinking Things Through

This week I've been thinking through some things and also cleaning out at the same time. I'm trying to make room for what's really important in my life.  This stack  of books shows how many things I think about and how scattered I can feel.   I need to send some of these on their way as a donation to the library.  But some of them I need to make an effort to actually read.

Oh how I can relate! I have just been cleaning out books, too. It is amazing how many different things we think about, read about, or think we want to read about!

Keep going , Dixie - you are inspiring me!

That is a great idea...I had cleaned out a bunch of my art books--the ones I know I'll never use--and was thinking about selling them online. But dreading the additional work of photographing, listing, and then shipping. All for what? So I can make seven bucks? I shall donate them to the library. (And THAT way, if I, ahem, regret it a little, I can always borrow one. :~)

Don't be to hard on yourself about not reading up on so much. You're a fabulous lady with so many accomplishments, skills, and talents. Your family is lucky you're the Mom there.

I should point out that I found Smart But Scattered in between a pile of recipes and a To Do file with papers form 2008. LOL at me! ;-)
