Day 8 of 31 Days of Art

Assignment:   Take a common object - a piece of fruit, a flower, a pinecone, a cut pumpkin....you decide and your camera and really focus on photographing it with a digital camera so that you see the parts.   A cut onion is my example.

I was taking detail photos this morning for a lady who bought a pattern from me...the closeup brought out the most wonderful clarity in the fabric--it was a simple cotton shirting, but up close, it was more than that.

Dixie, you're like the onion...lots of interesting layers that become more evident with age. (Please take that in the spirit with which it is intended. :~)
