I Want to Play

See the girl on the right in the plaid dress?   That's me when I was two-ish, playing with my cousin Julie.  Isn't it amazing when you look at old pictures and realize that little girl is IN you?   She and I are going to do some paintings this week.  I am tired of dealing with the Sins of Disorganization and I want to play with color the way a two year old would.

Michele Made Me wrote a post about children's art which I enjoyed and made me think of this picture.

That little girl has a bandaid on her shin...poor little thing. You have a blast painting, Dixie, and play to your heart's content.

I remember when my mom used to chop off my bangs too! Painting with friends sounds like utterly awesomely FUN!

Go for it Dixie! That little girl in the plaid dress looks like she'd be up for a bit of finger-painting!

I don't remember my hair being that light. Hmmmmm.

Bec - painting with friends does sound fun. I think it's time for me to host the art party that I talked about last November. I've been in a long haul process recently and I need some stress relief!
