Brave, Regular Americans

I spent yesterday remembering 9-11, when we were at the emergency room with our oldest child, waiting to be seen, and saw those terrible images on the waiting room television screen.   That day is one of the largest stories of my generation, of many generations.  It's a story of loss, to be sure.  But an even greater story is the one of brave regular Americans, helping each other.  It's not just the story of that day, it's the story of our country, people from different paths, races, politics, working together.   ~ Dixie Redmond
