Jack in the Moonlight

I finished this painting last week and have just listed him on Ebay. In painting him I tried to get a sense of an old folk art painting and also of a character that is illuminated by moonlight. The kids who have visited love this painting. :-) I painted Jack on a large masonite panel which I primed. He has many, many layers of paint and has a crackled finish. This painting is 16 1/8 by 20 inches in size and perfect for leaning on a mantel to anticipate Halloween.
