Playing Around


 
 
This painting resulted 
from just playing around 
many years ago.
I learned some things 
by laying washes over  a ground,
from dropping rubbing alcohol into wet paint,
using the tip of my paint brush 
to draw into wet paint
revealing the layers below.
Playing is under-rated.
 
Time to schedule a play date.  ;-)

    Isn't it amazing what one ends up with sometimes just by playing around? Your painting has a nice clean, uncluttered look with wonderful shades of color and texture...something I would like on my wall.
