The Joy of Giclees

I found a printer nearby to scan the Dawn at the Dollmaker's painting. I really liked that painting and wanted to keep a copy for myself on watercolor paper.

Having a giclee done is an interesting process because there are so many directions to go in. I could choose to do a limited edition print on canvas or on watercolor paper or to do a poster kind of print. The image on watercolor paper is on the right, and the poster type is on the left. I took the picture without a flash so you can see how the poster version has a very reflective surface, which gets in the way of seeing the image.
