Hampden Garden Club

Last night I joined the Hampden Garden Club. They meet in a beautiful building that was built in 1828 called Harmony Hall. It was the first church built in town. One of their other goals is to preserve the 1828 Harmony Hall building for future generations. They also maintain quite a few of the public gardens in the town, and have a project to donate hours to beautify the gazebo that's in the new town park adjacent to the town pool.

I joined because one of my goals is to transform my yard to a garden of beauty. And one of my other goals is to to contribute to beauty in my community and world. Plus I like history and it's hard to resist an 1828 building called "Harmony Hall". I like harmony.
