The key to using paperclay is experimenting, and finding what works for you. In the fall I will be offering an online Izannah Walker Workshop. But the main answer to the paperclay questions can be answered by clicking on the banner at the top of this post. Jane DesRosier's Cloth & Clay Doll Workshop, which is a steal at $40, has tons of great information about sculpting with paperclay over cloth. Jane's teaching technique uses great videos to show how to make the cloth and clay doll featured. The techniques you learn there could be applied to many other kinds of creations.
