Starting Over Again


All the same painting panel...
which started with a brown gesso base.





And now...Tomato Boy in process.
This is the first blocking in 
after a pencil sketch.

Thanks, Jan. They are fun to paint. No artistic angst there. Often they end up looking like someone I know. I'm thinking I should try to paint one so he/she looks like someone I know.

Ann, I have two tomato people in progress. A girl and this boy. The girl is more painterly, I think and is a larger painting. The boy is mischievous in the way 12 year old tomato boys will be. Neither are done yet. I'm alternating between tomato people and abstract explorations. At some point the two will meet. I enjoyed looking at the artists you shared on your blog. :-)
