Day 17 of 31 Days of Art: Abstract Painting



After I worked on Tomato Boy I had a lot of paint left on my palette.  Since the paint would have dried on the palette anyway I used it abstractly on a large panel.   If it were the kind of panel I could cut with a saw I would slice the painting in half as is cropped above.  Here's the whole panel below.  I like some of the colorations and movements but everything's too close to the same value so it needs to have some darker values put in.   But still, I like some of the spots.   The crop above shows some of the mark-making.


Oh, and here's Tomato Boy below.
I'm not sure how I will change him.
Either the mask needs to change color
or the shirt needs to change color.
