2013 Word of the Year?

It came to me today.  My word of the year, that is.  Resilience.

Things change at such a fast pace now, that just when you're getting used to one thing it fades away and another new thing comes along.  Or you make plans to go in one direction, and suddenly find you are facing a closed door. Miriam Webster's definitions is "an ability to recover from or adjust easily <snip> change."

This year is a year of change on so many levels.  Resilience will be the word of the year.  Bouncing back, taking things in stride, trying again (and maybe again!).   ~ Dixie Redmond

I think I will keep this word close to me as well Dixie. Trying again is often not a part of our modern culture but in doing so is feels so human. Thanks for your post.
