Some Shortcuts Take Longer and Cost More

We've all been there.  We had a bright idea for saving time or money that didn't work out.

One of mine is the time I pulled  an AWESOME old chair off the side of the road for FREE. And then I had it reupholstered.  Hmmmmm. Somehow my free chair ended up costing a lot of money. Yes, the chair was antique.  That was awesome.  But it wasn't really affordable when all was said and done.  I have a similar chair waiting in my garage for me to slipcover it....it would likely be less expensive for me to just go to the furniture store and buy a new chair.

I seem to always have a chair like that in my life. I have learned that sometimes it is better to pay full price. Especially if my time is to be factored in.
