Cleaning Out the Workroom...

Cleaning out the workroom is a bit like doing an archaelogical dig. I've been sorting through different art supplies, fabrics, etc. I can remember when I bought it some of them and what I thought I was going to do with them. A lot of it is still in its pristine unused form. I tend to forget to factor family and my job into my artistic ambitions. For instance, I went through a phase where I was obsessed with Nine Patch quilts from the 30's. I loved seeing the different prints used that were so different and gave them so much life. So I bought some vintage cotton fabric on Ebay with the intention of making my own. But the reality is, I don't have the patience and time to make a quilt. I have the patience and time to make a quilt block ;-). So I'm going to sell some of it on ebay ID northdixiesales. So if you're a quilter, or you just want to dream about making a quilt, be sure to check those items out.

Hey, I see my pal Sandy from PFATT has been here too!
I love your blog about the clean-out. LOL, it certainly is a lot like an archeological dig. I come across pieces of fabric in my clean-oouts and wonder "What was I thinking when I bought this?!"
Other times I remember exactly why I bought it, and cringe to remember that I never even started the project I was going to make with it.

I am enjoying your blog and your great website! Thank you!
Joanne
