Plant a Tree and Watch It Grow...

In my last house we had planted a dwarf crabapple cultivar right off the front porch. One of the things I hated leaving when we moved was the mature magnolia tree (be still my heart when it's in bloom) and that beautiful crabapple we planted to remember a milestone moment in our life.

So we're going to go buy a tree this weekend and plant it in the front yard this weekend. I'm not sure what we're going to get - maybe a crabapple, maybe a magnolia. And I want to get something to plant off of the back deck that has fragrance when it blooms. The crabapple at the old house had teeny-weeny fruit that were just bigger than berries and were a beautiful purple -red when mature.

Decisions, decisions! :-)
