opened last night in Bangor, Maine.
The Quebe Sisters Band from Texas was the main attraction last night and WOW!!! They were so good. They have harmony down like the Andrews Sisters and play the fiddle like nobody's business. The bassist and guitarist were so good. If you love music, you should go!
We're going to go again on Sunday - if you're in Maine it is worth traveling to - the food vendors are great, the music is wonderful and there's opportunity to dance all those calories off ;-)

You lucky duck Dixie!! I love folk music and used to go see a lot of it. I even worked in a little coffeehouse where we had folk music every fri and sat night. I rarely get to see any now-it doesn't make it to my neck of the woods anymore.
My absolute favorite music is made by woman fiddle players! How marvelous this must have been!
