Still no word on the new computer. But using Old Faithful has given me the opportunity to look through pictures on this computer, which I am now putting on CDs. I uncovered some early works from Northdixie Designs that I thought I'd show here. The above picture is a detail of Bunny Shelf-sitter that just had to have pearls and sold for peanuts.
The next doll is one I made at the end of summer, as a Halloween doll. But no one "got it" - it was called "Mama at the End of Summah". 2006 was a bit of a challenging summer for me and I was exhausted, and trying to work on Halloween stuff for Ebay. A guy friend of mine says it "frightened him". Surprisingly, no one purchased this doll. I wonder why?

Mama at the End of Summah is hilarious and cracked me up. Try throwing the word Gothic in the listing title and see what happens. Your pumpkin and squash dolls are adorable, not Chucky material!
