Snow Day #2

Yesterday was a snow day. We pulled out the Christmas decorations and festooned the house. Isn't that a great word?

Festooned
  1. A string or garland, as of leaves or flowers, suspended in a loop or curve between two points.
  2. A representation of such a string or garland, as in painting or sculpture.
Today is another snow day. We're going to paint portraits of snow people today. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!

festooned. Like that word; sounds like a festive time to be had or perhaps how one would feel after being a bit too festive with the eggnog.
Blondie (who is JEALOUS about the snow . . . we are getting dandruff flakes falling here)
