There's about a foot of snow
on roofs around here.

When you live in a climate where the weather affects what do you talk about weather a lot. I notice this on my blog. But snow, sleet, freezing rain, and cold temps can definitely affect whether you go out. I haven't been out of the house in 4 days other than picking up milk and a package at the post office two blocks away!

But today's the day! I'm going out for a stretch of time. Maybe to the mall to catch a sale. Kiddos are back in school. The sun's shining. But today's HIGH temp is going to be 16 degrees. The old furnaces will be working overtime. Brrrrrrrrr!
