This sweet doll at the Strong Museum tugged at my heartstrings. She is a rubber shoulderhead with a cloth body. I love her chunky body and her sweet dress. She looks a bit wistful in her expression. She was made in 1881 by the Goodyear Company. Rubber was the miracle product at the time. Click the pictures to see larger pictures.
