Common Items We Take For Granted

I was thinking today about inventors and how important they are to our society. Sure, sometimes they can be socially awkward. Temple Grandin, a grown woman with autism who wrote the book Thinking in Pictures, said that the first person to go off and make the first tool out of a rock had to be somewhat odd and people avoidant. But if we didn't have people who like to shut themselves away to answer questions and improve things we wouldn't have the following items that greatly enhance our lives:

Ball Point Pen

Safety Pin

Toilet

Clothespin

Lightbulb

Camera

History -

Think about that for a minute!
Someone had to get the idea to keep a record!
