I am not a quilter, but I admire quilts. I love the old ones that were made from bits and pieces of shirts and dresses that had passed the stage of usefulness as a garment.
I love the ones made with precision, and I love the ones that are patched together in odd, haphazard ways.
And I love the new ones where the artist puts a lot of thought and time into choosing the patterns and colors. See WANDA's quilts at Exuberant Color - they are wonderful!
