I started with the painting above,which was actually fine.
Not shake the world outstanding.
So I decided to trysome crackle medium
and glaze over that.
Yuck.
Then I decided what the hay
I'll make her into a tomato girl...
But the tomato girl looks
like a tomato boy in drag, somehow.
This is the point when you abandon ship.
I must be disciplined and take comfort

I couldn't help but giggle at your tomato boy in drag comment. Dix, I LOVE your tomato folks and I'm a big fan of all your paintings. Just bring the neckline up and give him a crew neck.
Or leave it and give him a boa. :> )
