Strawberry Moments and Working Hard

Do you ever feel like a bird
that just found the perfect strawberry?

Strawberry moments usually happen because of effort. I don't think that strawberry fell from the sky landing in the bird's beak, do you?

Louis Pasteur,
a pioneer in the field of immunology, said:

"Did you ever observe

to whom the accidents happen?
Chance favors only
the prepared mind."

Louis Pasteur also said:

""When you work
seven days a week,

fourteen hours a day,
you get lucky."

Finding strawberries is the bird's work. The strawberry moment is great, but not more important than all the work that leads to it. As I come closer to a half-century mark in a few years, I am understanding the satisfaction found in the work itself, and not just the strawberries that come as a result of the work. This brings me to a final quote to leave with you.

"Far and away
the best prize that life has to offer
is the chance to work hard at work worth doing."

Theodore Roosevelt
