Works in Progress

The doll on the right has become the doll below. She started off being inspired by the primitive Izannah in Helen Nolan's book Early American Dolls. But somewhere along the way some Queen Anne influence has made its way in. So someone in the Maida Dolls Group has named her "Quizzy". Which I think is kind of nice.

And this is what the doll on the left
in the top picture has become.

Who knows where she'll end up?

Hello, Dixie!
Congrats on your EAL Directory position. I can't wait to take your class in September.
I just joined your blog (I'm new to all this blogging craze) and look forward to seeing your
beautiful work.

Hi Dixie,
I'd love to know how many of these dolls you have made now. They just keep getting better and better!
