Cloth Over Paper Clay Doll Update

It's cold here...sub zero temps.  What to do on a day like this when kids are home?

Time to work on an Izannah, of course.
I have two in process.  Above is beginning painted stages.
Below is mid sculpting stage of another doll.

I've found that drawing on the sculpts in process gives a lot of information about needed changes.  And then I write on it what I think I should do and put clay on top of that. This doll in the bottom picture needs a lot of clay additions in the face.

Hi Dixie,
Would it be possible for you to take a picture and post of this doll from the side?
Thanks!

Sure, Carol. But better yet, look at an original Izannah from the side. ;-)

I like the features on this one, Dix! Very relaxed and thoughtful. She will be a beauty! Bec

I was curious to see what you thought needed changed by looking at the side view of same doll. Sorry to be a pain.

No problem, Carol. I painted out the curls. They were too large and chunky. I think she looks nice without curls, but I'm not sure about it. We'll see. I'll take a picture tomorrow on the next step.
