Live Fully

For the past few days when I have come here to write a post my thoughts seem inconsequential in light of what is going on in Japan. In fact, at times they feel disrespecful. Am I really searching for "french ticking"?

Yesterday, there was an interview with the wife of one of the workers at the nuclear power plant that is having so many problems. She said that she had received an email from her husband, which said,

"Live fully. I may not be back for a while."

How we live our day is a sacred choice.  It always is, really, but situations and words like this bring that truth home.   The man who is going into that plant is risking his health and possibly his life.   He is living his life in the fullest way possible, to give others the opportunity to live theirs.

 Live fully.

Dixie, Thank you. Well said. I appreciate the story..one of countless others. Japan's tradgedy is everyone's tragedy. May we act as we wish others would act on our behalf, should tragedy strike.
