Early American Life Directory of Traditional American Crafts

Today I received a fun bundle in the mail - a packet of the August 2011 Early American Life magazines which have the 26th Directory of Traditional American Crafts.  I was thrilled that my work is recognized in the Toys and Dolls category for painted cloth Izannah Walker inspired dolls along with other artists whose work I admire and respect.

Here are some of my

There are many other interesting works represented in other categories.  Subscribe to the magazine and also visit the Early American Life website to see the other artisans in the Directory of Traditional American Crafts.

Hi Dixie,
Your dolls are always beautiful and i admire them. Dolls are something I would be all thumbs at but I enjoy yours and the quality of craftsmanship you put into them top notch. Thanks for your post.
