New Camera

I bought a new camera because my old one has been a little big to take to most events.  I'll be sharing this one with my sons.  Anyway, here are some pictures I took with it.   I'll be taking pictures for my next tutorial with this one.  14 megpixels, what?!?

And here are some I took with my phone camera
while I was tooling around doing errands
I love, love, love my phone camera.
It comes in so handy!

Awwww, look at that face. Doggie Love! Dixie, what an incredible camera. My daughter bought one and the picture quality is so beautiful. I have her pictures on my blog. The prints are just gorgeous, too.
The landscape shots are spectacular. I need a new camera...sigh

The cameras in phones have gotten so good that they rival entry level digital cameras now. We recently bought a fancy new "real" camera, but paid for a bunch of buttons and settings I like to play with (because I am a big nerd). The truth is that my wife would rather take a picture with her phone and at 5 megapixels the shots are good enough to print. ((I am hoping to take some really cool shots and sell a calendar ))

I like to play around with cameras. But for sheer capturing the moment a camera phone is a wonderful convenience. P
