9-11 Thoughts

My husband and I were in the emergency room with our son who has autism on 9-11.  We were trying to manage a very spirited child overwhelemed with stimuli when the TV in the waiting area started scrolling these horrific images of the world trade center being hit by planes.

It seems to me that one of the things the terrorists hoped to do on 9-11 was to make us afraid to live our lives. To be looking over our shoulders all the time, to hide out even.   It is important that we don't do this.  This is an important day to remember for many reasons.  But we should not stop living.  All those people who chose to die would be dishonored if we don't live.  For that reason, I posted my Day 2 post.
