Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes

This doll has changed some since the previous post about Fixing Mistakes. My thumb is there for scale. This little folk art creation is shaping up. Several dolls now need some sewing done for limbs and clothing.

There has been a good discussion lately in the Maida Dolls Group about reworking workplaces. I'll be bringing my sewing machine upstairs so I can work on the "project of the moment". Disappearing into the sewing room has not been an option of late, and I am having to rediscover completing works in short chunks of time rather than hours long blocks. Nancy Zieman wrote a whole book on the subject called 10-20-30 Minutes to Sew and Flylady built a whole community around clearing out clutter in 15 minute increments. Hmmmmmmmm. Changes are on the horizon here. But I'm going to change some things on purpose so that I can work more easily and enjoy life more.
