All Good Wishes

I love the sentiment on this old postcard I found on Pinterest. It says, "All Good Wishes for Christmas".   And doesn't that say a lot?  I also love the colors in this postcard.  I would love to have a room decorated with this feel.  A soft purple couch would be divine.

And here is some Christmas cheer from my own home:

The little creation below hangs on the chair where my Izannah Walker doll sits.
It was created by the wonderful doll maker Peggy Flavin.

The following little baby is the Baby Jesus (or Baby Cheezits, as my oldest used to call the Christmas child). Back in 2006, when my youngest was young, I was trying to make a pattern based on an old vintage doll.  I had made a roughly put together one out of osnaberg fabric but hadn't decorated the face.  When I wasn't looking, my youngest took the blank doll and made it into "Baby Jesus". I took this picture before the Christmas tree skirt was around the tree.  I love this Baby Jesus.

If you are reading this, I am sending you all good wishes
for a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year in 2014!
