Pay It Forward, Literally

Sometimes one of those years gets thrown your way. We all have had or will have one. It's the year when illness hits your family. It's the year when an industry changes and  your job is lost.

I know the mom of this family, because we are in a support group online for autistic people and family members who love them. She has a son who is autistic, as I do. She's one of the leaders of the group, and is always supporting someone else. That group has been a huge support to me in our own tough year.

Another mom who also has an autistic child set up this GoFundMe drive to help this family move to where their new jobs are.

So, if you were looking for a good way to end 2014 and begin 2015, pay it forward.  Donating to this family will literally move them to their new jobs from Louisiana to Virginia after a very tough year.
