Day 19: The Gifts You Give Yourself

This past week I went "upta camp", as Mainers say. Camp is shared by extended family members. We all do things to keep it up. My task on this day was to clean out the fridge and unplug it. Earlier in the year, on a whim, I planted two tomato plants in landscape fabric grow bags to leave at camp. During the summer a kind neighbor watered the plants during the week.  Thanks, Lynn! And look what greeted me on this camp cleanup day!

I am benefitting from seeds I planted in April in my basement while there was still snow 9n the ground. Those seedlings were in the orphan pile. I'm glad I decided to plant them. There is probably a lesson here. Maybe more than one.  ;-). But one is that a seed planted has a multiplier effect, and blesses us in ways we can't anticipate.
