Art I've Been Making

I started painting again, digitally. I've been working on a series of paintings focused on caregivers. Sometimes these start out as self-portraits, and me drawing how I feel, and then they morph into a portrait of someone I know who is facing similar circumstances. Stylistically they are all over the place. Several moms in my acquaintance have gone through a season of caring for their dying parents while also caring for their adult children with developmental disabilities. It is both a privilege to be a caregiver and exhausting to be a caregiver. Especially double caregiving.

I've added a few landscapes in as well.

I've been  making some Izannah Walker dolls taken from a mold made from my antique doll Hope.
