You learn something new every day. At least on a good day! ;-) One of the things I learned last year was that creative paperclay can be rolled out with a rolling pin like piecrust. I learned this from E. J. Taylor.
I enjoy making cloth over clay dolls using paperclay. It's a very forgiving medium, easily sanded, easy to build up, non-toxic. Even if you make a mistake, which I often do, it is easy to sand them off, or to add more clay over them. :-) I like that! Be sure to visit the VIDEOS at the top which show me applying paperclay to a doll.
Tomorrow I will be taking some in process dolls with me to speak to the local UFDC club about Izannah Walker. It will be fun to meet some other people who appreciate folk art dolls!
