31 Days of Change

The Nester writes a decorating blog I like to read.   Her blog's tagline is "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful."  She's invited readers to participate in 31 Days of Change in October where you can pick your own 31 days campaign and write about it on your blog. If you're not changing you're not growing (so they say).

I'm going to join in the 31 Days Campaign.  I'm still deciding what exactly to call it but it will be art related and I will post every day here on my blog.    A few ideas I had were

31 Days of Celebrating Art
31 Days of Art Exploration
31 Days of Art Techniques

OR

31 Days of Finishing
What You Started

Ha ha.   Anyway, I'm hoping to find a topic that will challenge me and interest you, too.  Stay tuned.

Well if you do it then I might have to - oh wait, this will require discipline, right? Hmmm...well, I have a little time to think about it. Check out my new post - I went to Folk Art heaven last weekend. Wish you were with me!

31 days seems like an awesome concept. My particular choice would have to do with relationships or organization or health changes like better eating or maybe even making a documentary which has been a dream of mine for awhile..lots to think about wait is that a change!

Hi, Ann and Leslie -

This cuts to the core in so many ways. In order to do 31 Days of Art I realized I need to clear the decks. So now am doing 20 Days of Wiping the Slate Clean. It's a mental process as much as physical process. What do I want my future to be is at the heart of it.

Hugs,
Dixie
