All Shall Be Well - Part 2

It is interesting how quotes are changed throughout time. I did a little more reading about Julian of Norwich, and see that the first part of her quote has been dropped on many websites.

"Sin is behovable (unavoidable),
but all shall be well,
and all shall be well,
and all manner of thing shall be well.

~ Julian of Norwich

We're not surprised by the presence of sin, although we in our world don't like to use that word much. Whether we like to use the word or not, sin exists. People make choices out of greed, or for the need for power or control over other people. In large and small ways, we try to make ourselves God at times. It happens when corporations make choices that harm other people. It happens when individuals choose to push another down to raise themselves up. Sickness - sometimes physical, sometimes emotional - results from that sin. The comfort that we have is that "all shall be well." The "all shall be well" is the opportunity to allow God to work in our lives and change us.
