I came back from vacation to an award from Nancy Malay!

I'm supposed to name 10 people whose blogs "Make My Day" and here are 10 I enjoy - I am always delighted, encouraged or thoughtful after I visit these places.

One of my resolutions for 2008 was to have more fun - and for me this will mean to break some rules, so I'm doing that today. I'm not asking the people I've named to do anything but know that I enjoy the thoughts and pictures and artwork that they share. If any of you I've named want to share 10 blogs you like to visit, have at it! :-)

Jan Loy of Sharing Encouragment
- her blog is inspiring and makes me think!

Denise Aumick of Wild Thread Studio Art Quilts
- Denise is an artist I really respect and I love to watch her process.

Wanda Hanson of Exuberant Color - Wanda's quilting blog is always interesting and I especially love seeing her beautiful color from the vantage point of continuing winter right now

Mandy Broome of Fiddlestix Studios - I think Mandy is a wonderful dollmaker that hasn't been discovered by collectors yet. Shhhhhhh!!!!! Don't tell anyone I'm bidding on Mandy's wonderful whimsical rabbit doll on Ebay.

Teresa Baker - Dolls of Yore - Teresa is the first person I heard the beautiful name "Izannah Walker" from and one of the first people to encourage me as a dollmaker.

Lone Pierette
- Lone hails from Denmark is a wonderful dollmaker and a fun encouraging person.

Megan Womack of The Magpie's Nest
- Nutmeg is full of spunk and a great designer. Her punchneedle designs make me want to take it up!

Heather Bailey
- I don't know Heather, but I love to visit this page. It is yummy for the eyes! Heather is a fabric designer, and I looooooove fabric. Uh-oh!

Karin Pender of Countryfolks Keepsakes - She's also known as Peanut in some parts ;-) What I like about her blog is that it's usually full of humor - lots of wonderful creations and she updates often. One of the things that I think deserves a "you make my day" award!

Christine Crocker - The Pastoral Dollmaker - I love Christine's eye for beauty and her eye for possibilities. The present entry on My Love Affair with an Old House exactly expresses what I'm talking about.

Hi Dixie! I did not know, did not know you honored me. I've been so busy lately - caught up in way too many commitments. Thank you, kind heart.
