Yesterday's Cherished Rose

My dad is always telling me to write things down - write down the family stories, the names of people on the backs of pictures, etc. Because 50 years from now you won't be able to tell who is who among the cousins. We cleaned out the office a while ago to paint and are now finally loading some things back in. While we were moving things back my husband found this pressed rose between two books. I must have pressed it, but I don't remember when or why. Was it from a bouquet given me or a blossom from someone's garden?

And back to the song "I Worry Too Much" - if you'd like to see a live acoustic version then click here - it's interesting to compare it to the other video on the Buddy and Julie Miller site. And wonderful to see what four musicians can do! The bass line is really fun.
