Red Houses


I have no idea where I got these pictures of red houses from. Some of them are from historical sites, and who knows where else the others came from. But I do love them all!


The house above and the house below
have EVERYTHING painted red -
house trim and shutters.
It creates a seamless look with texture.




The house below has white trim.
I think we're going to go with ivory.


This is a modern garrison house
similar in style to mine in darker red.

And finally, here's the subject house again.
I love before and afters.
But the after doesn't come till late June.

So have you painted it red yet??? I'd love to see it as I am on the verge of having our hoouse painted red.

Hi, MaryCharlotte - you can see a post about my house "after" at the following link. It was fun to go from drab to red, for sure! I haven't regretted it once.
